What heating options are best for the mild winters in Bradenton, FL?

In Bradenton's mild winters, heat pumps are often a preferred heating option. Heat pumps are efficient and can both heat and cool your home, making them versatile for the Florida climate. Additionally, electric furnaces can be a viable option for supplemental heating during the cooler months.

What water heater options are suitable for Bradenton's water quality

Given the water quality in Bradenton, FL, it's advisable to consider water heaters with corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel or glass-lined tanks. Tankless water heaters are also popular due to their ability to provide on-demand hot water without the risk of tank corrosion.

Upon arriving at the customer's location, we were informed that the system was not fully heating up. After inspecting the unit, we discovered that the air filter, located underneath the unit upstairs in the closet, was in poor condition and needed to be replaced. We recommend purchasing a size 22 X 19 cardboard frame filter from Lowe's or an online store. The duct work, located in the attic, was properly sealed to the unit, and the air handler was also located in the upstairs closet. We proceeded to remove the service panel from the unit and performed various maintenance tasks. This included tightening all electrical connections, cleaning the flame sensor, inspecting the hot surface igniter, and checking the heat exchangers. During our inspection, we found that the blower motor was measured at 2.3 amps. Additionally, we noticed that the blower wheel required cleaning. The indoor coil was clean, and the return temperature measured 70 degrees while the supply temperature measured 98 de
